What we're all about

Imagine there’s a place where the community comes together to be inspired, entertained and uplifted by the passion for the performing arts. The Huish Performing Arts and Cultural Events Center (PACE), located in Payson, Utah, promises to be the home to some of Utah’s greatest entertainers, a home for children to participate in the performing arts and a place where the community can gather together through arts education and community outreach programs. Huish PACE is committed to providing cultural enrichment for both young audiences and the public at large by increasing their exposure to the arts. It is our belief that everyone should be able to engage with the arts in an inclusive environment.

Give the gift of art

When Gordon Taylor, former mayor of Payson, Utah and a retired dentist who practiced in Payson for many years purchased the old Huish movie theater, he and his wife, Karen, had a vision to resurrect the decrepit, vacant theater and make it into an epicenter of performing arts at the south end of Utah County. The objective of the Huish PACE is to provide a venue, not only for artistic expression, but for events that are educational, cultural, and inspirational. There has been a significant need for a venue of this type for quite some time. Significant work has already been done, but the project can only be completed with help from public donations.

Your donation will make a difference and will help to provide the necessary funding to bring this project to fruition.
